Show how you will support
yourself:
- At the U.S. embassy or consulate you must show how you and/or your sponsor
will support your
stay in the U.S. For us to issue an I-20, you may send us either
the Affidavit
of Support - Form I-134 or our Statement
of Sponsor Support. Check with the visa section to find
out if they require a specific form.
- To study at Nomen Global,
you must be able to show approximately $4000 for yourself and
$1200 for each dependent for each 4-month semester you plan to attend
Nomen Global. To determine the exact amount, see the income/asset
requirements.
-
For
us to prepare an I-20 for you, send, fax or email us:
-
Your application in #1
above (or complete an online application).
-
Copy of your Statement of Sponsor Support or Affidavit of Support and bank
statements or other
financial documents to support the amounts you show.
-
Black and white copy of your passport.
-
Fees: (pay online, by wire, by cash or by check drawn on a U.S. bank)
-

Application fee of $100 USD
-
Highly
Recommended : Express
mail fee ($50 USD, $100 in Mongolia and Russia) if you want us to express mail the I-20 and letter
of acceptance to you. (We find that documents sent by
regular mail are often delayed or lost.)
-
Optional:
-
Required:
You will be required to pay the SEVIS fee (see 5 below)
directly to Immigration on your own. If you want us to
pay it for you, include $150.
-
Next steps:
-
Finally:
-
Make your
appointment with
the embassy.
-
As
soon as you receive your I-20 with you SEVIS number, and at least 3 days before you go to the embassy,
you must pay the SEVIS fee ($100) online
or by Western Union. Print a copy of the fee receipt
and take it with you.
-
Take
all documents we send you (I-20 and letter of
acceptance)
-
Take
your financial documents to show how your sponsor and/or you will support yourself.
-
At the embassy or consulate, you
must pay a visa application fee. When you make the appointment, ask them how much it will be.
-
You
should also be able to show that you plan to return to your
country after you complete your studies (i.e. that you own
property in your country, that you have a job you will return to,
that you have family in your country)
-
Notify us
of the outcome with the embassy and let us
know when you plan to arrive in the U.S.
Note: If you are denied a
student visa and you decide to make another request, the SEVIS fee is good for 12 months. The
Nomen Global application fee is "one time only" and is good for
any future applications you may make to
our school.
