Alliance is an intensive
program for the non-English speaking individual who is living in the
community and who wants to learn
English quickly. Alliance is a 16-week course
(equivalent to one semester) with classes taught both morning and
evening
in order to fit your demanding schedule. Alliance normally involves 10.5 hours of class
time each week.
Alliance is taught in two-week
modules. You may enter at the beginning of any two-week
block.
We offer a free
evaluation to each of our prospective students to help us make sure
they begin at the proper ability level.
Upon successful completion of the Advanced level, the student is ready
to tackle complex situations involving the use of English.
Employers often pay
for all or part of
an English program.

for Specific Purposes
Many non-English speaking
individuals want to increase their English ability for specific
purposes. With the assistance of employers, we have developed courses that
teach the
vocabulary
required for certain jobs and occupations. Employers
usually pay their employees to attend
these classes.
If your employer does not
offer these classes, let us know and we will contact them and let them
know how we can help.

Tutoring:
One-on-One Instruction
Professional tutoring
is given by instructors who are highly trained and experienced at
giving the student a very intense learning opportunity.
For students taking other
classes with us, free tutoring is offered by college students
and others who
volunteer to work with our non-English speaking students.
